UNDERSTANDING THE KINGDOM Part 4

THE PROFFERED KINGDOM
God did not choose Israel because of anything other that His Divine purpose:
Deut 7:6-8
6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
KJV
Israel was called into existence to be the nation which God would not only bless but would, in turn, through this nation, bless all the other nations as well. In this respect, Israel was called into existence to be the channel through which God would bless all mankind (Gen. 12:1-3).

In order for these blessings to ultimately be realized in their fullness, man must occupy the position for which he was originally created. Man must hold the scepter. There can be (there has been and presently are) blessings for mankind, through Israel, as man moves towards that end; but the fullness of blessings which God has in store for mankind, through Israel, cannot be realized until man actually holds the scepter.

To effect the whole of the matter, Israel’s calling involved giving man the Redeemer, giving man the Word of God, and being made the repository for both heavenly and earthly promises and blessings.

Through Israel God has given man the Redeemer and the Word of God, revealing His plans and purposes. But the heavenly and earthly promises and blessings, other than a foretaste, have yet to be realized. Such a realization awaits man holding the scepter during the coming Messianic Era.
And even though the Israel now gathered in the land, (Middle-East) are an un repentant people; it is evident that those that blessed them are blessed.......Gen 12:3
3 And I will bless them that bless thee , and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
KJV
